Jianna Xiong
Jianna Xiong is a junior at Wesleyan University double majoring in Film Studies and Economics. She has been involved in film productions since high school, with experiences on both indie and commercial film sets. She developed a special interest in the magic realist style after finding inspiration from such films as The Fall (Singh, 2006), 2001: A Space Odyssey (Kubrick, 1968), and Beasts of the Southern Wild (Zeitlin, 2012). She seeks to continue exploring the style in her future creative projects and academic research.
