Joana Imparato
Joana Imparato holds a master’s degree in communication and semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo (PUC-SP), a bachelor in fashion design from SENAC and in communication of body arts from PUC-SP. She has been a freelance costume designer since 1998, working with diverse artistic languages in Brazil, such as film, videoclips, plays, contemporary dances, performances and musical shows. She also led costume design workshops at Instituto Criar de TV, Cinema e Novas Mídias from 2008 to 2016, taking an interest in body issues in the creative process of film costume design.
