Joanna Walsh

Joanna Walsh is a multidisciplinary writer for print, digital and performance. She is the author of seven books including the digital work Seed (seed-story.com), which will be published in print, and as an experimental artist’s book-box, by No Alibis Press in June 2021. She also works as a critic, editor and teacher, and holds a Ph.D. in creative and critical writing from the University of East Anglia. She is a UK Arts Foundation fellow, the 2020 Markievicz Awardee for Literature, and the founder of #readwomen (2014–18), described by the New York Times as ‘a rallying cry for equal treatment for women writers’. She currently runs the Twitter campaign @noentry_arts.
