John David Rhodes

John David Rhodes is the author of Stupendous, Miserable City: Pasolini’s Rome (University of Minnesota Press, 2007), Meshes of the Afternoon (BFI, 2011/2020) and Spectacle of Property: The House in American Film (University of Minnesota Press, 2017), and the editor of several books, including Antonioni: Centenary Essays (BFI and Palgrave, 2011, co-edited with Laura Rascaroli). His essays have appeared in Diacritics, Framework, Screen and various other journals and edited collections. He teaches at the University of Cambridge, where he is director of the Centre for Film and Screen.
