Jordan Parrish

Jordan Parrish is a Ph.D. student in film studies and English at the University of Pittsburgh. He received an MA in film studies from Ohio University in 2016 after completing a thesis on Japanese Horror Cinema. His research interests include film philosophy, time and movement, and his work analyses time’s effect on film form and film bodies, simultaneously fragmenting bodies as a form of body horror while impossibly suturing elements of cinematography and editing together.
