José Lima Santos
José Lima Santos, Ph.D. by the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. He is full professor at ISA. Research and main publication areas: agricultural, environmental and resource economics, namely nonmarket valuation of environmental goods and services, and interactions between farming systems and biodiversity. He was director-general at the Portuguese agricultural ministry during the negotiations of the 2003 CAP reform and participated in these negotiations at the highest technical-political level.
