Joseph A. Pate
Dr Joseph A. Pate is the Director of Academic Service Learning and the Bonner Leader Program and Instructor in Outdoor Leadership and Service Learning at Young Harris College. Serving in these capacities, he works to address and impact community based needs through co-curricular experiences and facilitating experiential and engagement based pedagogies within diverse courses and disciplines. His scholarly interests are predominantly grounded in the philosophy and methodology of phenomenology, and broadly focused on experiences of leisure, pedagogy, learning, growth and development.
