Julie Ellis
Julie Ellis is a Research Associate in the department of Sociological Studies at the University of Sheffield. Her PhD research used an ethnographic approach to explore experiences of everyday family life when a relative is living with a life-threatening illness. Julie has a range of interests that include media representational practices, illness narratives and material culture. More specifically, her primary research interests are in the areas of identity, family and personal relationships and especially in relation to dying and bereavement experiences.
