Julie Mader-Meersman

Julie Mader-Meersman is a graphic designer, visual artist and design educator. In her design practice, Mader-Meersman focuses on creating high-quality, research-driven design for the public good – specifically, for non-profit, community and arts-based organizations. In her fine art, she specializes in artist’s books and mixed media collage, ranging from one-of-a-kind, smallformat works to large-format works in editions. She has exhibited her design and fine art both nationally in America and internationally, extending its appearance in industry publications and permanent art collections. Mader-Meersman earned her Master of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design from the University of Washington School of Art, Seattle, Washington, USA (1996).
