Jyoti Pandey Sharma
Jyoti Pandey Sharma is professor of architecture in the Department of Architecture at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal, Haryana, India. Pandey Sharma graduated from Chandigarh College of Architecture, and her doctoral work was undertaken at De Montfort University in Leicester, United Kingdom. She has been a Summer Fellow at Harvard University’s Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collections and a UGC Associate at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. In her work, Pandey Sharma engages with issues of built heritage, cultural landscapes, and urban history, focusing on the Indian subcontinent’s legacy of Islamic and colonial urbanism. She is widely published.
