Kari Edwards

Kari Edwards is a Ph.D. candidate in history at the University of Mississippi. She holds a BA in religious studies from the University of Tennessee–Chattanooga and an MA in southern studies from the University of Mississippi. Her primary area of research is American religion in the twentieth century, focusing on Christian fundamentalism and conflicts between religion and science. She is currently working on her dissertation, which explores the religious history of the space race in the United States from 1957 to 1986.
