Kelvin Ramirez

Kelvin A. Ramirez, Ph.D., LCAT, ART-BC, has years of experience collaborating with educators, community leaders and mental health professionals in Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, India and Mexico to incorporate art therapy within their educational systems to enhance student’s personal and academic growth. Since 2019, Dr Ramirez has organized and collaborated with a team of mental health professionals to support community leaders, artists and mental health service providers living in Juarez, Mexico, through his initiative, No Longer Bystanders, which provided opportunities for trauma informed training that integrated artistic processes into the mental health supports offered to asylum seekers by these professionals.
