Krupa Rajangam

Krupa Rajangam has studied Conservation Architecture at the University of York and has over a decade of dedicated heritage conservation experience. She is founder-director Community Initiatives and Research at Saythu...linking people and heritage, a Bangalore-based heritage conservation collective and a Director at the Centre for Heritage Initiatives, School of Architecture, Dayananda Sagar University. She is currently pursuing an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Heritage and Conservation Studies at the National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore to understand the relevance of the Cultural Heritage concept, in a particular geographical and cultural context. Her doctoral study is based on ethnographic research among resident communities and ‘authorized’ groups / individuals at the World Heritage Site of Hampi, India.
