Larbi Sadiki

Larbi Sadiki teaches politics at Qatar University and is the Lead Principal Investigator for the QNRF-funded project ‘Transitions of Islam and Democracy: Engendering “Democratic Learning and Civic Identities”’. His books include The Search for Arab Democracy: Discourses and Counter-Discourses (Columbia University Press, 2004) and Elections without Democracy: Re-thinking Arab Democratization (Oxford University Press, 2009–11) and Routledge Handbook of the Arab Spring (2015/17). He is currently editor of the series Routledge Studies on Middle Eastern Democratization and Governance (https://www.routledge.com/Routledge-Studies-in-Middle-Eastern-Democratization-and-Government/book-series/RSMEDG).
