Laura Carletti

Dr Laura Carletti is a research fellow at the Horizon Digital Economy Research Institute, University of Nottingham. Her research focuses on digital culture and learning innovation, specifically on the impact of new media and technologies to support participatory practices such as crowdsourcing and citizen scholarship. She regularly collaborates with cultural institutions in experimenting with innovative forms of community engagement with archival resources and online collections. Laura has extensive experience in European project management. She is an expert evaluator of Horizon 2020 proposals, and an elected member of the Council of Europeana, the cultural heritage platform funded by the European Commission. Laura holds a Ph.D. in learning sciences and technology from the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Marche, and a MA in arts and humanities from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Urbino.
