Liang Yi
Dr Liang Yi graduated from CUC (Communication University of China) and currently teaches in the School of Media, Communication and Creative Industries at HBU-UCLAN (Hebei University – University of Central Lancashire). Dr Yi has also worked as a journalist and an editor in both television and print media. Her main area of research is in the area of media ecology. She has published more than 50 articles in CSSCI journals as well as other journals, and a book entitled Introduction to Film and Television Art (2013, Peking University Press). Dr Yi was selected as a speaker to participate in several international academic conferences including the Sino-Canadian International Academic Forum, the United Nations Education and Science Organization, the Media and Gender Institute, the Communication University of China in 2012, the Communication Research and Education in a Globalized Academic Community in 2014, the Countryside, Culture and Communication Academic Week, the New Global Village in 2015 and several others. Dr Yi has recently completed the book Introduction to Media Ecology, which is scheduled for publication by Peking University Press in 2018.
