Lucy O’Donnell

Lucy O’Donnell exhibits her work nationally and internationally and is an artist/researcher and senior lecturer in fine art at York St John University. After receiving her Ph.D. in 2016, titled ‘Drawing vignettes: …Perpetual becoming(s)’, she exhibited and published her work addressing pregnancy without birth. She questions how drawing can articulate loss, and how can the experience of miscarriage, as an unravelling or unbecoming of self, nuance the emphasis on ‘becoming’ in the discourse on drawing.
