Lydia Wysocki

Lydia Wysocki is a researcher and comics maker. She is currently a part-time Ph.D. student (ESRC NEDTC/NINEDTP) and part-time research associate in the School of Education, Communication, and Language Sciences at Newcastle University. She founded and continues to lead Applied Comics Etc, working collaboratively to make awesome comics about specific information. Her most recent academic publication is ‘Hate, marginalization, and tramp-bashing: A raceclass and critical realist approach to researching British national identity through comics’ (2020).
