Maja Murnik
Maja Murnik is researcher at Institute of New Media Art and Electronic Literature (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and freelance art reviewer. She holds a Ph.D. in philosophy and theory of visual culture (the title of her thesis was ‘Merleau-Ponty’s understanding of the body’). She graduated in comparative literature and theatre studies. She worked as editor-in-chief of the journal of performing arts Maska and its book editions. Her research interests include philosophy of embodiment (especially from the perspective of phenomenology), performance art and new media art.
