Malcolm Padmore

Malcolm Padmore is UK Project Officer for the ProActive European Lifelong Learning Project, which aims to promote GBL among teachers and trainers. He has been involved in educational software for over twenty years, and was an Ofsted Inspector for IT in the United Kingdom for twelve years. He is based at CAST (the Centre for Advanced Software Technology) at Bangor University. He has produced a classroom design package that allows students to design, populate and explore in 3D their own learning spaces. His programmes were developed through user-centred design programmes in schools in Tower Hamlets.

Currently he is working on a number of software packages, including one with a school for autistic children which aims to help students develop goal-oriented navigational skills.
