Maria Damon

Maria Damon is professor of humanities and media studies at Pratt Institute of Art. She is the author of two books of poetry scholarship, Dark End of the Street: Margins in American Vanguard Poetry (American Culture) and Postliterary America: From Bagel Shop Jazz to Micropoetries (Contemp American Poetry); two chapbooks of textilic visual poems, Meshwards and XXX; co-author (with mIEKAL aND, Adeena Karasick, Jukka-Pekka Kervinen and Alan Sondheim) of several books and chapbooks of poetry; and co-editor (with Ira Livingston) of Poetry and Cultural Studies: A Reader.
