Marina Gall

Marina Gall is Senior Lecturer in Education (Music) at the Graduate School of Education, University of Bristol, UK. She leads the one year secondary music teacher education course (PGCE), is deputy director of research (Learning Lives) and senior tutor on the University’s Teaching and Learning in Higher Education programme for new staff. Her main research focus is technology and music, teacher education, and creativity. Marina has been led teams in large-scale research projects focussing on ICT, and on teacher education (see http://www.tlrp.org/proj/phase11/phase2i.html and http://menet.mdw.ac.at/menetsite/english/index.html). Prior to university work, she spent sixteen years teaching Music, Drama and Dance in primary and secondary schools; this included work as Director of Community Music and Head of Arts in inner London schools
