Mary Maclean

Mary Maclean is an artist and senior lecturer at the Royal Academy Schools. Her work explores the representations of the experience of place, questioning the relationship between the image and the subjective experience of socialized, architectural space. She is a founder member of the artist-led curation group Outside Architecture that looks at ways in which practices outside the discipline of architecture can reflect on the character and aims of architecture. Recent projects include ‘Plan Un-Plan’, Stephen Lawrence Gallery, University of Greenwich; ‘Of and For’, The Bank, London Metropolitan University and ‘One and One and One’, CGP London.
