Maryam Ben Salem
Maryam Ben Salem is currently the Communication and Research officer for the UN-INSTRAW & CAWTAR project 'Strengthening women’s leadership and participation in politics and decision-making processes in Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia'. She is a Ph.D. candidate in the political science department of La Sorbonne University, Paris and the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Tunis. Her main research interests are religious activism, Tunisian media, women’s political mobilization and the relationship between politics and religion in the contemporary Muslim world.
