Mauricio Kevin Aguilera Mora
Mauricio Aguilera is research assistant in the project ‘Guatemala-Mexico: Migration and Development’ at the Centre for Demographic, Urban and Environmental Studies at El Colegio de México. He has been a member of the UNAM Seminary of Cinematographic Analysis since 2016 and was part of the organizing team of the UNAM Colloquium of Cinematographic Analysis for the 2016, 2017 and 2019 editions. His research focuses on cinema and Latin American studies. He is also interested in the relations between New Latin American cinema and Italian neorealism, and contemporary documentary cinema on Central American and Mexican migration to the United States.
