Megan Martinelli Campbell

Megan Martinelli Campbell holds a Master of Science degree in textiles, fashion merchandising, and design with a concentration in historic textiles and costumes from the University of Rhode Island. Her thesis ‘“Would live like ancient Greeks”: The Art and Life of Raymond Duncan’ received the 2013 URI Excellence in Graduate Research award in social services, art, and humanities. Megan is a research assistant at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, where she has worked since 2014. As a steward of the collections, she finds continual inspiration in The Costume Institute for her independent scholarship on the intersection of dress and the art world. Megan lives in Brooklyn, New York.
