Megan O’Neil

Megan O’Neil is an assistant professor of Spanish at Tennessee State University. Her graduate work focused on popular cultural myths in the Caribbean and Andean regions whose postcolonial implications underscore foundational ideologies related to women and indigenous peoples. Her continued research into this area has led to an interest in early twentieth century female authors and their contributions to the indigenista movement in Latin America, as well as the linguistic archive contained within these texts.
