Megan V. Nicely

Megan V. Nicely is an artist-scholar working at the intersections of experimental choreography, somatics, Japanese butoh and philosophy. Her interests in modes of perception and action inform her teaching, writing and dance-making. She has presented work in the United States, United Kingdom and Europe, and her writings have appeared in TDR, PAJ, Performance Research, Contact Quarterly and Liminalities. She is currently co-editor of the Critical Acts section of TDR and assistant professor in dance at University of San Francisco, whose department focuses on the performing arts and social change.
