Melissa Trimingham
Melissa Trimingham worked extensively in UK community theatre including many applied theatre projects with Horse and Bamboo Theatre Company, Lancashire. She is a lecturer in Drama at the University of Kent. She has previously published on Oskar Schlemmer, the Bauhaus theatre and the methodology of practical research. She has just completed a book on the theatre of the Bauhaus for Routledge (2011). She is co-leader with Dr. Nicola Shaughnessy of the Centre for Cognition, Kinesthetics and Performance at the University of Kent, and engaged with Dr. Shaughnessy on joint practical research into media interventions with autistic children.
