Michela Zegna

Michela Zegna is a curator of Paper Collections at the Cineteca di Bologna. From 2003 to 2008, she worked on the cataloguing and promotion of the Charles Chaplin Collection. More recently, she has been responsible for the Alessandro and Mara Blasetti Collection and the Giuditta Rissone and Vittorio De Sica Collection, among others. From 2016 to 2018, she coordinated the cataloguing and digitization of the Franco Cristaldi Collection for the Cineteca di Bologna, with the sponsorship and collaboration of the AHRC project on ‘Producers and Production Practices in the History of Italian Cinema’. In 2020, she directed short documentaries on the daughters of two famous Italian filmmakers, Ritratto di Mara Blasetti (‘Portrait of Mara Blasetti’) and, in collaboration with Anna Masecchia, Mia madre, Giuditta Rissone (‘My Mother, Giuditta Rissone’). The two works resulted from the assemblage of photographs and documents from the collections of Alessandro Blasetti and Rissone-De Sica, both from the Cineteca di Bologna.
