Nader Ardalan

Nader Ardalan is President of Ardalan Associates LLC, Consulting Architects, with over five decades of international experience in the field of environmentally sustainable and culturally relevant design. He is former Senior Research Associate at the Harvard Design School and Senior Editor for the Gulf Sustainable Urbanism research programme. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie-Mellon University and a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Harvard Design School. Ardalan has been a visiting professor at Harvard, Yale, MIT and Tehran University and a founding member of the Steering Committee of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture. He is the author of The Sense of Unity (University of Chicago Press, 1973).
