Nikolaos Kanellopoulos
Professor Nikolaos Kanellopoulos is the president of the Audio and Visual Arts Department of Ionian University. He has served as vice-president of the Ionian University Council (2013–17), vice-president for the Computer Science Department of the Ionian University (2005–07), faculty member of the Archives & Library Science Department of Ionian University (2003–07), faculty member for the Computer Science Engineering & Informatics Department of Patras University (1987–2003) and president of the Greek National School of Dance (2000–02). He has experience with more than 50 national and European R&D projects in the fields of computer applications. His published work includes three international patents and about 120 papers/studies. Currently his main research interest focuses on applying digital technology in audio-visual art interactive systems (VR/AR).
