Odeya Kohen Raz
Odeya Kohen-Raz (Ph.D.) is senior lecturer in the School of Audio and Visual Arts, Sapir Academic College. She also teaches in the Steve Tisch School for Film and Television at Tel Aviv University, and is a teaching coordinator in the Department of Literature, Language and the Arts, at the Open University of Israel. Her fields of research are narrative film, psychoanalysis, theory, intertextuality, the Holocaust, ethics, aesthetics, Israeli documentary and narrative film. Her book (co-authored with Sandra Meiri), Traversing the Fantasy: Desire, Fantasy and the Ethics of Narrative Film, is forthcoming with Bloomsbury Academic.
