Phil Nichols

Phil Nichols is the Course Leader of BA (Hons) Video and Film Production, and Senior Lecturer in Digital Media at the University of Wolverhampton. He holds a first degree in sciences, an MA in Screenwriting, and is working on a Ph.D. at the University of Liverpool on the media work of the American writer Ray Bradbury. He is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

His writings have appeared in Radio Journal, The New Ray Bradbury Review, When Genres Collide, Visions of Mars, Vector and The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction. He has presented conference papers at SFRA, ICFA, the Eaton Conference of UC Riverside, the Edge Hill Short Story Conference and elsewhere.

He serves on the Advisory Board of the Centre for Ray Bradbury Studies (University of Indiana-Purdue University Indianapolis), and on the editorial board of The New Ray Bradbury Review.
