R. Colin Tait

R. Colin Tait is an assistant professor of film-television and digital media at Texas Christian University. He is the author of De Niro’s Method: Acting, Authorship and Agency in the New Hollywood (1967–1981) (UT Press, forthcoming) and co-author of The Cinema of Steven Soderbergh: Indie Sex, Corporate Lies and Digital Videotape (Columbia University Press/Wallflower Press, 2013). He has written extensively on film and television acting, Will Ferrell, masculinity and the contemporary media industries.
