Rachel Hann
Rachel Hann (Ph.D.) is a senior lecturer in scenography at the University of Surrey. Rachel is currently director of postgraduate research for Guildford School of Acting (GSA) as well as deputy associate dean for the university’s Doctoral College. Her teaching and research focuses on the material cultures of costume, performance design, and architecture. ‘Beyond Scenography’ is Rachel’s first monograph (Routledge 2019) and provides the first theory of scenographics in response to the expanded practices of contemporary theatre and performance.
