Rachel Parikh

Rachel Parikh is currently the Calderwood Curatorial Fellow in South Asian Art at the Harvard Art Museums. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge in 2014 and specializes in South Asian painting as well as arms and armour. She is currently completing her monograph, The Khalili Falnamah (Nour Foundation, forthcoming 2020). Rachel has published articles on a broad range of topics within South Asian art, her most recent being The Forged and The Divine: Weapons and Goddess Worship in Hinduism (Orientations, 2018), and has held positions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Art Institute of Chicago.
