Robert Jewitt

Robert Jewitt is a lecturer in Media and Cultural Studies at the University of Sunderland, UK. He is the programme leader for the BA (Hons) Television Studies. His research interests involve the social shaping of technology, with a particular focus on mobile technologies. He has had book chapters published on the mobility of telephone networks (2005), ‘Mobile Networks – Globalisation, Networks and the Mobile Phone’ in C.
