Ruth Festl is a research associate in the project ‘Cyber-bullying in schools’ funded by the German Science Foundation (DFG). Her research interests include the use and effects of digital games as well as the media behaviour of
children and adolescents – especially abusive aspects, like cyberbullying. Her Ph.D. thesis deals with the explanation of different cyberbullying roles.
