Saleema Waraich

Saleema Waraich is an assistant professor in the Department of Art History on the Asian Studies Program at Skidmore College. Prior to joining the faculty at Skidmore, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture at MIT, and a lecturer and Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in Islamic art and architecture at Smith College. Currently, she is completing a book manuscript titled Architecture, Representation, and Memory: The Mughal Forts of Lahore and Delhi, which traces the changing functions, imagery, narratives, and symbolisms of the administrative-residential capitals of Lahore and Delhi.
