Santiago Pérez Isasi

Santiago Pérez Isasi is an assistant lecturer (professor auxiliar) at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, and researcher in the Center for Comparative Studies at that same institution. His main research interests include Iberian studies, literary history or digital humanities. He is the co-author (altogether with Antonio Sáez Delgado) of De espaldas abiertas: Relaciones literarias y culturales entre España y Portugal (1870–1930) (Comares, 2018), co-editor of Perspetivas críticas sobre os Estudos Ibéricos (with Cristina Martínez Tejero, Ca’ Foscari, 2019) and Looking at Iberia: A Comparative European Perspective (with Ângela Fernandes, Peter Lang, 2013). Between 2018 and 2020 he was the IP of the project ‘Mapa Digital das relações literárias ibéricas (1870–1930)’, and he is co-IP of project ‘IstReS – Iberian Studies Reference Site’, altogether with Esther Gimeno Ugalde, with whom he also co-edits the International Journal of Iberian Studies.
