Sara I. Magalhães

Sara Isabel Magalhães is a graduate and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from University of Minho, Portugal. Presently, she is a FCT Postdoctoral Researcher (SFRH/BPD/93654/2013) at the Centre for Psychology from University of Porto (Portugal) crossing feminist media studies, critical social psychology and intersectionality theory. She is also a Visiting Researcher at Communication and Society Research Centre, University of Minho (Portugal) and at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Seville (Spain). Also, she has been actively engaged in several financed research projects, both in academic (FCT) and social (POPH/QREN/FSE/CIG) frameworks. She has also participated in financed training (CIG) contributing, therefore, to strategic public training in different fields of action. As a feminist activist, she is part of the board at APEM and a member of UMAR regional core in Braga.
