Susan O’Shea

Susan O’Shea is a senior lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Manchester Metropolitan University and a founding member of the research group Music and Sonic Studies Manchester (MASSmcr). She teaches postgraduate-level mixed-methods research methods and undergraduate social theory, and on music, movements and protest. She is interested in the application of social network analysis to investigate different music worlds with a particular focus on gender.
