Susannah Langley

Susannah Langley is a visual artist and researcher with thirteen years of studio practice focused on drawing and sound. Since 2013, Susannah has collaborated on experimental projects that share stories and sounds of places, often working with new media artist and mobile developer Warren Armstrong to make interactive installations and virtual reality experiences that audiences can walk through, touch and listen to. In 2017, they won the Paramor Prize for Art and Innovation from Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre in NSW for their work ‘Listening Device VII: Felt Histories’. Susannah is experienced in delivering tech-based workshops for young people and has contributed numerous artworks to exhibitions, festivals and residencies both nationally and internationally. Currently, Susannah is completing part-time, an MFA, Production at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music, the University of Melbourne where she is investigating drawing and sound in a virtual environment through practice
