Telesia Kalavite
Telesia Kalavite is Tongan from the village of Nukuleka in Tongatapu. She has taught in Tonga, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia at primary, secondary and tertiary institutions for many years. Her tertiary education and working experiences were at Tonga Institute of Education, Waikato Institute of Technology, University of Waikato, University of Southern Queensland and now University of Otago, where she is currently a lecturer at Te Tumu School of Māori, Pacific and Indigenous Studies.
