Thomas Ellis

Thomas Ellis is teaching fellow in the history of American foreign relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science and earned his Ph.D. in history from the University of Southampton in 2018. He is currently working on a monograph examining American perceptions of the Soviet space programme from the space race of the early 1960s through to the collapse of the USSR. His research interests centre on US–Russian relations, American visions of the future and technological utopianism.
