Thomas Piontek
Thomas Piontek is an associate professor of English at Shawnee State University, where he teaches classes in women’s, gender and sexuality studies, culture and media studies, literature, writing and LGBTQ studies. He is the author of Queering Gay and Lesbian Studies (University of Illinois Press, 2007), as well as numerous book chapters, articles, translations, reviews, interviews and reference materials. He is currently working on a book-length study of queer families and their representation in film, television and literature.
