Jennifer Thomas

Jennifer Thomas is an associate professor of performance and communication arts at St. Lawrence University (New York, the United States) where she teaches courses in theatre history, theory and literature. Working at the intersection of theory and practice, Dr Thomas’s work has explored aging and old age, feminist theatre practices for the stage and classroom, and inclusive pedagogy in higher education. Her book Inclusive Character Analysis: Putting Theory into Practice for the Twenty-First Century Theatre Classroom (Routledge, 2020) connects critical theory with analysis for the theatre classroom. Additionally, Dr Thomas’s creative scholarship has been seen in Washington, Oregon, North Dakota, Connecticut, Wisconsin and New York.
