Karima Thomas

Karima Thomas is an associate professor at the Technology Institute of the University of Angers. She wrote a Ph.D. dissertation on the subversion of authoritative discourses in the work of Angela Carter. Her main fields of interest are intermediality and the interaction between text and image in the short story. She is also interested in audio-visual short forms such as TV series, trailers and fan transformative works, and in short stories for young–adult readership.
