Alessio Cangiano
Alessio Cangiano is a social demographer (Ph.D. Sapienza 2005) with primary research interest in migration and its intersections with labour market, social and development issues. Between 2011 and 2017 he was a senior lecturer and coordinator of the Population and Demography programme at the University of the South Pacific (USP), Fiji Islands. Prior to joining USP he worked as a research officer at the University of Oxford’s Center on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS) and continues to contribute to the Oxford Migration Observatory. Alessio is currently working as an independent researcher and international statistical consultant.
